im and Elaine Spencer are the Owners / Innkeepers of the Stone Maiden Inn. They purchased the Inn in April 1999. Jim is a retired electrical engineer, having spent many years working in the heavy power industry. Elaine is a graduate of the University of Manitoba with a degree in Home Economics. They are the parents of two children - Andrew who graduated in 2002 after studying Electrical Engineering at Queen's University in Kingston and Jennifer who is in her first year at Dalhousie University in Halifax. Jenn and Andrew have both worked at the Inn during their summer school holidays.


They moved here from Nova Scotia where they owned and operated a Bed and Breakfast in a century home, near Wolfville, in the Annapolis Valley.

They are all very hospitable people; the Spencers hope you will enjoy your visit to the Stone Maiden Inn as much as they enjoy having you stay with them.
